Shibuya Sky Nexus is a 45-storey commercial tower built directly above a live rail interchange, threading its structure between operating platforms without interrupting daily service.

A steel megaframe transfers tower loads around the rail corridor to a small number of deep foundations, while tuned mass dampers manage the wind-induced sway typical of Tokyo's slender high-rises.

The building's lower levels knit into the city's pedestrian network, and its all-electric services strategy targets net-zero operational carbon in line with Tokyo's decarbonisation roadmap.
